Group Friendly Standard of Excellence
In order for a business to receive the “Group Friendly” designation, they must first meet our high standard of service excellence. We invite suppliers to review the requirements and apply for certification. (Remember, you cannot simply pay to be “Group Friendly!”)
- Groups are treated with respect – never made to feel as if they are a burden
- Groups are provided with “Group Friendly” preferred rates (better than published group rates)
- Adequate facilities to accommodate large groups, including a commitment to cleanliness
- Located in an area that is conducive for the group types they are catering to – including youth groups
- Staff on hand that are trained, specialized, and stand ready to meet the needs of the group
- Motor coach parking is available on site or at a reasonable distance and at a reasonable rate. Written bus parking instructions are readily available to tour planners and group leaders
- Payment terms, including billing options for qualified groups, loyalty rewards points earning potential for group leader or operator. In addition, the business will accept major credit cards
- Businesses will have adequate Liability and Errors & Omissions insurance coverage and will provide contract for services. Motor coach companies are willing to list operators or groups as a named insured for services rendered
- Group Friendly complimentary service ratio provided to leader or operator
- Members abide by a commitment to service excellence – including providing a group sales contact, a group welcome upon arrival and assistance throughout their experience
